    Faith

Watched Muallaf, late Yasmin Ahmad's film with @patrick2u and @williamnka  in 1U earlier.

The theme of the movie was one of Faith. Do we put our hopes on people only to have them disappoint us later in life or do we put our trust in God, in my case, Jesus Christ! And can we really forgive others as the Lord our God has forgiven us with the blood of Christ on the Cross. In the movie, the main characters chose to forgive others even when others ill treated them, even to the point of repaying evil with good. They forgave their dad who abused them when they were younger, and came back to care for their dad when he was bedridden because of stroke. How many of us could do that!? Their portrayal of Faith was one of obedience in their daily walk with God. God and prayer was never far from their daily life.

This movie really shook me faith wise and forces me to re-examine my life in Christ and am I really living my life for Him? Am I obedient? How is my daily walk with God? Even I have to admit, work has overcome me, I no longer spend time praying as much as I had while I was still studying, even I failed to finish my 2009 Bible reading plan.

In the movie, they quoted from the Bible. The other character asked, was in from Matthew, but the other character said no, it was from Paul, but not Paul the Apostle. It was another Paul. Even I who have studied Matthew 3 times cldn't b too sure whether what was quoted was from Matthew.

But I thank God for on Christmas He spoke to me, He told me what I shld want in 2010, and the answer is "All I want is a closer walk with You!" Amen,

    About Me:

My crime is simple. I like cars. I like the shape of a good car and the noise it makes when you push its engine to the limits. I like the tummy tugging g-forces in a corner and I get the same sort of pleasure from a well held power slide as others do from scoring a 40-yard goal.

What’s more, the car is perhaps the only machine in our everyday lives that can dump a ton of dopamine into your arterial route map while performing the humdrum task of moving you from A to B. A toaster cannot do that.

Things that appeal to your inner animalistic being — good food, sex and drama — cannot also keep you dry in a rain shower or get your flat-packed furniture home from the shop. The car appeals on every level. Personal freedom. Practicality. Excitement. You’d have to be a Darwinian oxbow lake to not want one.

Once you have accepted all this, you should buy the fastest and most beautiful car that falls into your grasp. You should drive it whenever and wherever the mood takes you, paying the fines and the charges and the tolls. You should use it as a tool and as an extension of your personality. You should enjoy it. And you should also pray to God I’m right.
