2 incidents happened
1 involving a car crash and 1 involving a hospitalization without insurance
The car crash involved power oversteer due to the failure in design of the torsion beam rear axle suspension system which I long consider a flaw in today's automotive world. Yet most cheap B-segment cars by Japanese manufacturers still make them. Its seen in Perodua Viva, Myvi, Honda City, Toyota Vios, Suzuki Swift, etc. Car's today have independent rear axle suspension in the form of Double Wishbones like my Civic or Multi-Link like my Waja. Even most Protons with the exception of the Saga have independent rear suspensions. Had my friend's car been fitted with independent rear suspension, even with his aggressive driving style, he wouldn't have crashed. So its really the cars fault...
A car with independent rear suspension can be driven to its very limit and even a little beyond it. A car with torsion beam rear suspension can't be driven at its very limit as driving approaching its limit would cause the car to power oversteer and bite you in the arse, much like how a Porsche would bite you if you overstep its limit. Even I wouldn't drive a torsion beam rear axle car if I had the choice, or I would drive such cars within its safe limit threshold which means driving it slowly. And driving slowly is something I hate very much with all my heart and soul.
People should stop obsessing with buying nice expensive cars till they can truly say to themselves and actually believe they can handle the car they much at its very limit. Many people buy the cars they can afford without being able to fully appreciate it and knowledgeably be able to drive it well. So I suggest spending a few thousand ringgit and go for advance driving courses to be able to know how to drive your expensive car well. Driving dynamics is a very most important skill set to have if you wanna drive your car very fast safely. Without it, you would simply drive fast all the way to heaven, God forbid you don't actually die and become a vegetable...

The other incident is self explanatory. Hence I can't stress enough the importance of Insurance! People don't buy it but when they need it most, they don't have it.
