This is a picture of a dying man, whose life is already but numbered, I personally believe its right for him to quit and spend more time with his family and loved ones before he becomes a vegetable and could no longer remember the people who are around him, nor care for himself on a daily basis.

Monster Tajima's Record Breaking Run Pikes Peak 2011

Nobuhiro "Monster" Tajima's 9:51.278 run up Pikes Peak was simply amazing to watch. We were fortunate enough to see it in person, and we've shown you still photos of the record-breaking event. This was one of those "You had to be there" moments in motorsports. Still, don't fret if you didn't make the trek to the 14,115-foot summit, because GoPro installed enough cameras to capture every angle of Monster's run, and then some.

We spoke with the GoPro team as we rode in the media van down the mountain. They have quite a job of editing ahead of them. Still, they managed to get one video out that requires no mucking about. A camera was mounted on top of Tajima's 2011 Suzuki SX4 Hill Climb Special, and the footage is excellent. On the tarmac sections, the video almost seems sped up, but that's what 910 horses can do.

Has the Folders like Hotmail where you can file your emails. Not unlike Gmail.

It claims to have better spam protection, this remains to be seen, as previously it was extremely susceptible to spam. Even my account and many other peoples accounts were sending out spam email without even the user knowing.

It now has better monetizing and marketing tools, like Hotmail, you get targeted advertisement in yer emails.

Hope it can rise up and challenge Gmail and Hotmail as Yahoo was once the Pioneer in the free email services, but slowly lost ground to Gmail and then Hotmail.

2011 Canadian Grand Prix packs the action in between the raindrops

Montreal is unique. It's an island in the middle of a giant river with a volcano at its heart. It's the largest French-speaking city outside Paris, has the lowest legal drinking age anywhere in Canada (or the United States) and has a distinctly European feel for a North American city. But what really counts to car buffs and sports fans is that (pretty much) every year, it plays host to the Canadian Grand Prix. And for that reason alone the city stands as one of the great racing capitals of the world.

If that's not enough to endear Montreal to the hearts of racing fans around the world, this year's Canadian Grand Prix – the only one in North America and, together with the Brazilian Grand Prix, the only Formula 1 race in the Western Hemisphere – was one for the ages. The practice and qualifying sessions for this year's Canadian Grand Prix had their own share of action. Sebastian Vettel joined the ranks of his fellow world champions Damon Hill, Michael Schumacher, Jacques Villeneuve and Jenson Button when he crashed into the "wall of champions" on Friday. Sergio Perez, still not fully recovered from his crash in Monaco, retired from the second practice session, bringing Pedro de la Rosa out from the McLaren garage to take his place on short notice.

Although Ferrari was in fine form, of course it was Sebastian Vettel who placed his Red Bull on pole once again. Beside and behind him were Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa. Vettel's teammate Mark Webber lined up in fourth, ahead of McLaren's Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button in fifth and seventh, staggeringMercedes GP's Nico Rosberg and Michael Schumacher in sixth and eighth respectively. Renault's Nick Heidfeld and Vitaly Petrov lined up ninth and tenth, followed by Paul di Resta (Force India), Pastor Maldonado (Williams), Kamui Kobayashi (Sauber), Adrian Sutil (Force India), Sebastien Buemi (Toro Rosso), Rubens Barrichello (Williams), Pedro de la Rosa (Sauber), Jaime Alguersuari (Toro Rosso), Jarno Trulli and Heikki Kovalainen (Lotus), Tonio Liuzzi (HRT), Timo Glock (Virgin) and Narain Karhikeyan (HRT). Virgin's Jerome d'Ambrosio was the only driver who failed to meet the 107% qualifying threshold, but the stewards were lenient in allowing him to race regardless as he was driving a new car.

A deluge on Sunday forced the race to start, however, under the safety car. It would not be recalled until the start of the fifth lap, at which point Vettel held on to the lead, his Ferrari rivals unable to gain enough traction to mount an assault. With water standing around the track, Hamilton spun his McLaren after brief contact with Webber, dropping down in the order from fifth to eighth, only to go off again after bumping into Schumacher. Hamilton recovered and rejoined the field, but his third collision in as many green-flag laps saw his own teammate close the door on him down the front straight, putting Hamilton into the wall and taking his wrecked car out of the race in an incident that was to be investigated by the stewards after the race.

The safety car deployed once again and Button went in for fresh rubber. When the SLS AMG with the flashing lights was recalled again on lap 13, more laps had been completed behind the safety car than under a green flag. Vettel was still in the lead, followed by Alonso, Massa, Rosberg and Schumacher. Suffering mechanical issues, Webber had fallen to ninth, behind Koabayshi, Heidfeld and Petrov, with di Resta and Maldonado in tow. One of the few to have pitted this early, Button was down in twelfth, followed by Sutil, Barrichello, Buemi, Trulli, de la Rosa, Kovalainen, Glock, Alguersuari, Karthikeyan, d'Ambrosio and Liuzzi.

Just seven rounds of the Ile Notre-Dame circuit later, on lap 20, the safety car was brought out for the third time, this time for unsafe driving conditions due to the quickening pace of the deluge. And after another five laps, race officials waved the red flag for the second time in as many races to halt the action.

Another hour and a half later, the rain let up and the race got back underway, once more under the safety car. On lap 35, real racing finally resumed, and Massa didn't miss a beat, attacking Kobayashi in a battle that would last the rest of the race. A flurry of drivers headed for pit lane as soon as the race was back on, but the first real piece of action since the restart didn't happen for another couple of laps: taking the outside (read: wet) line on the chicane, Alonso collided with Button. The Ferrari was finished, and the McLaren limped to the pits to replace a punctured tire.

The ensuing safety car deployment lasted until lap 41. Two laps later, Schumacher passed Webber for sixth place, while Paul di Resta broke his front wing on the back of Heidfeld's Renault. Schumacher then passed Heidfeld, too, as Button moved past both Maldonado and Alguersuari for tenth place. Schumacher's brilliance shined through, however, when he closed in on Massa and Kobayashi and passed both to slip into second while the Brazilian and Japanese drivers were busy jousting.

Sutil joined the retirees on lap 52, as a chunk of the field went in for slicks as the track dried. That proved premature for Massa, who spun out on a wet patch but made it back to the pits to replace his broken nose cone before rejoining the race.

By lap 55, Vettel was still in the lead, with his longtime mentor Schumacher in second and Webber in third. Kobayashi followed in fourth ahead of Button, Heidfeld, Petrov, Barrichello, Alguersuari and Rosberg to tenth. Massa was down to twelfth on his out-lap.

The following lap, Heidfeld hit the back of Kobayashi's Sauber under breaking in the hairpin. The collision loosened his front wing, which then came off on the back straight, sending Heidfeld over the top and skidding into the run-off, ending his race. The safety car was deployed, then recalled five laps later with just nine to go.

With the race back underway Vettel wasted little time moving ahead of the crowd as Schumacher, Webber and Button ran in close proximity one after the other with the remaining field falling further adrift. After passing Schumacher, Webber cut the chicane, forcing him to concede position, then faltered on a wet patch as Button got by both him and Schumacher to move into second.

Paul di Resta retired his Force India on the penultimate lap, but it was on the last lap that the biggest surprise unfolded. Showing a rare error in form, Vettel skidded sideways on a wet patch and Button got by to take the win. A little further back, Massa finally passed Kobayashi by a nose across the finish line to contribute to one of the closest finishes at the end of an exciting, tumultuous race.

And so concluded the 2011 Canadian Grand Prix, with Button taking his first win of the season on a podium alongside the two Red Bulls. Schumacher finished fourth in his best result so far this season, followed by Vitaly Petrov, Felipe Massa, Kamui Kobayashi, Jaime Alguersuar, Rubens Barrichello and Sebastien Buemi. Rosberg, de la Rosa, Liuzzi, Karthikeyan, d'Ambrosio, Glock and Trulli all finished outside the points, as di Resta, Maldonado, Heidfeld, Sutil, Alonso, Kovalainen and Hamilton watched on from pit lane.

The results leave Vettel still firmly in the lead with 161 points, but catapult Button into second with 101, ahead of Webber's 94 and Hamilton's 85. Red Bull likewise remains well ahead of McLaren in the constructors' standings with 222 points to 161 as Ferrari, which had shown promise in practice and qualifying in Montreal, trails with 93. The circus rolls into Valencia in two weeks for the European Grand Prix.

JENSEN INTERCEPTOR GETS A VIPER MOTOR

8.3-litre V10 dropped into a Jensen to create... the Viperceptor...

It would take a strange person to suggest that the old Jensen Interceptor, with its 6.3-litre or 7.2-litre V8 was under-engined, but it seems that there are people out there who disagree...

One of these people is Brook Anderson, Who has got in touch with us to let us know about his Interceptor - into which he is fitting an 8.3-litre V10 from a Dodge Viper.

As you can see from the pics, Brook's car is still very much an 'ongoing project', but the finished article should be pretty - how shall we put this? - interesting.

Brook's car has been stripped down to its shell by the chaps at Valley Gas Speed Shop, and has an entirely new suspension and brake set-up to help manage the 8.3 V10 and four-speed auto.

We'll update you with more info on the 'Viperceptor' as Brook and Valley Gas progress with the job, but for now, you'll just have to enjoy the pics of a truly fascinating 'work in progress'.

Oh, and if you're wondering about the wide arches, they're inspired by this sketch (right) by Keith Anderson of the Jensen Owners Club - a vision of how a 21st-century Jensen could have looked...

The video above is a pre-birthday celebration with my ex-cell/church mates from FGA. Its amazing that I still am in contact with them from late 2005 till now, the year 2011! Hope we could still hang out together like this for some time to come b4 we get to busy with our individual lives.

Wanted to take leave today for my birthday but decided to juz go to go as usual, at work, no one knew it was my birthday so it was business as usual, so no pranks, or awkward ppl wanna treat you lunch moments.

Came back early, or I rather say 'on time', to meetup with Aidan and Darrel to celebrate a mini, quiet birthday. Went La Bodega, where I thought my American Express Platinum card could give me a 'buy 1 free 1' deal. But this turned out to be false! 2 persons, 50% off on main meals / 3 persons, 33% off on main meals. While at La Bodega, there was a fire incident happening across the road from Empire, at Wisma Consplant 2, my prediction was someone mayb stuck in the lift, but Aidan saw the firefighters wearing oxygen mask and overalls, so mayb there was a mini fire there. So Maybank Subang BC off tomoro?? Lolz...

Then after dinner, went to look at cars on display at Empire Ground Level, this week is the Subaru Legacy retailing for about RM270k with road tax amt about RM2k, 4 wheel drive, but their only showroom and service centre is in PJ.

But b4 tat, I came back home early to look at the Saga FL 1.6 Litres but was utterly dissapointed as the Proton showroom in Subang SS15 opposite Carrefour didnt have it on display, really wanted to check tat out, retailing at about RM46,550, its a steal! My fren and neighbour Kok Fye juz bought a 1.3 Manual, I think he might regret not waiting a liitle longer to get this gem of a 1.6 litre Saga FL Auto...

To my good fren Pip, the Saga FL 1.6 Auto is definitely worth every single cent! Get a loan and go buy it!

Hope to gather some of my close frens tis Saturday to try go again to Shabu Shabu Puchong to eat the steamboat buffet! Who's available??

A little dissapointed that I didnt manage to collect this week's McDees Coca-Cola 'can' glass. Mayb collect tomoro or juz stop at pink color... The set meal you need to order in order to get it is seriously not worth it! Mayb I shld cut down on Starbucks, Chatime, Gong Cha, etc too...

Anyone with over $500k annual income is not a fool; we would only date you, but will not marry you. I would advice that you forget looking for any clues to marry a rich guy. And by the way, you could make yourself to become a rich person with $500k annual income.This has better chance than finding a rich fool.

Lamborghini delivered one of the first of its latest Aventador supercars to a dealership in Berlin recently, blocking traffic and generating quite a crowd on a busy street. Despite some awkward maneuvers in busy traffic, nobody seemed to care... at least not once the Aventador's 7.0-liter V12 fired.

The best part of the clip by far is the Aventador's hostile cackle, even without turning much above idle through the entire video. In spite of it being shot in grainy medium-resolution, the latest big Lambo looks as good out in public as it does all gussied up for the auto show circuit.

harder compound tires that doesn't really last a longer race distance and are equally useless after 10 laps of so plus they give a penalty of being 1 second a lap slower in race pace

Red Bull cars are hardest on their rear tires, so tires degradation for them is the highest, but this flaw is hugely offset by their highly competitive and fast drivers who qualify 1st and 2nd. Then breakaway pulling a huge enough gap to safely change their tires and still come out in front.
Aerodynamics Guru Adrian Newey's designed F1 cars of Red Bull are so damn efficient at manipulating the airflow around the car that they couldn't even be bothered running the 'movable rear wing setup' and 'KERS'. But I tell you, the death of that guy will almost certainly spell the death of Red Bull Racing. Cause Red Bull is only a championship winning team due to the F1 cars he design.

McLaren's woes during Pre-Season test seems to be over, with Hamilton competitively chasing and pushing the Red Bull's running in the front of the pack, Button had a poor start to the race in Australia and was held up behind the slow Ferarri's for the entire race.

Vitaly Petrov of Lotus-Renault was surprisingly quick and held-off Alonso during the end of the race! Showed that even a double World Champion like Alonso couldn't even overtake the so called noob driver! This shows that overtaking in F1 is nigh on impossible! So credit must be due to those who can overtake during a race on a track, and not during pit-stops!

Ferarri was shockingly surprised by the lack of pace in qualifying and race despite showing strong performance in pre-season tests!

Mercedes was out of luck as both their drivers got knocked by other cars during the race, but Schumi's still way off the pace of his younger compatriot Nico Rosberg, son of World Champion Keke Rosberg. Schumi should just retire permanently and start to train his son to take over his rein like the Rosberg family, going the full circle just to complete the Mercedes contract of 3 years will just put a huge dent to Schumi's illustrious career!

Juz a month after I bought my iPhone 4, Maxis launches the Google Nexus S. A phone which I thought would never be officially launched here in Malaysia. But its not surprising as Google juz opened its office here in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I wonder would DiGi follow suit and also launch the Nexus Google S with cheaper rates and a cheaper price tag for the phone?

I seriously considered the Nexus Google S before I bought my iPhone 4 but the Nexus S by Google wasn't officially sold here in Malaysia. But I would have bought an iPhone 4 by DiGi anyway cuz of its really cheap packaging of phone + data + calls = cheaper rate. I only pay RM171 a month for the iPhone 4 plus the data plan and call plan.

I also wouldn't get an Android phone as I don't see Google as being very committed to be a major player in the smartphone business. I would really see Google's plan as more of an experiment with the communications industry.

They never really want to get tied down to a phone manufacturer to design a unique phone with a USP. Instead they rely on manufacturers to come up with the latest bundle of technology. Much like assembling a PC with all the latest and best hardware the market has to offer. Then Google juz supplies the software to run the hardware. Much like how Windows business model works.

Plus more delays with its operating software, many Android phones are still running on Froyo, while only selected phones has the latest software upgrade like the Nexus S with the Ginger Bread software. Why not let Gingerbread be widely available to all current Android users? No backward compatibility? But why not? After all its juz plain software running on hardware... Ginger Bread should run on old hardware juz fine except that some old phones cant run some latest Ginger Bread software apps.

Also Android has not as wide a developer support, accessories support, tech gadget support for its phones. Juz walk into a Machines shop anywhere in the Klang Valley and you will be swamped by the myriad of gadgets that accompany your Mac products!

All in all, Apple's iPhone is a one stop solution provider while Android based phones are juz neither here nor there...

iPhone 5 set for metal back and bigger screen, but no NFC?

Apple may be grappling with Japan-related production issues for the iPad 2, but preparations seemingly continue apace for the launch of the iPhone 5 this summer. New reports from manufacturing partner Foxconn back up previous speculation about a metallic rear and larger screen for the new device, while NFC mobile-payment technology may be back on the menu too.

9 to 5 Mac quotes a "reliable" Foxconn source as saying that the iPhone 5 will soon go into mass production, and that it looks similar to the iPhone 4, but with a flat metal back casing, rather than the glass used for the last model. The source also claims that the iPhone 5's screen is larger than the iPhone 4's, although no actual figure is given to back this up.

It's not the first time a metal back and bigger screen have been predicted for the next iPhone. Earlier this month, Chinese sources were gossiping about the device having an aluminium rear, before allegedly leaked engineering drawings showed a screen that was nearly edge-to-edge, thanks to a noticeably smaller bezel.

One feature we thought would be missing from the iPhone 5 was near-field communication (NFC) technology. Rumoured in January, the theory of iPhone-powered mobile payments seemed to have been scotched last week when UK operators claimed to have been told by Apple that NFC wasn't on the cards for another year at least.

Now NFC may be back on the agenda, with Forbes journalist Elizabeth Woyke expressing surprise at the operators' views.

"From what I hear, it is possible the iPhone 5 will include NFC. An entrepreneur who is working on a top-secret NFC product told me today that he believes the iPhone 5 will have NFC and cited a friend who works at Apple as a reliable source for the information," she writes.

"To further bolster his statement, the entrepreneur said that manufacturers of NFC readers -- whom he has been talking to for his own product -- also expect the iPhone 5 to have NFC. These manufacturers are gearing up for the additional NFC traffic the iPhone 5 will bring, likely this summer."

Separately, the Cult of Mac website claims to have details of how NFC-equipped iPhone 5s will let users log in to other Macs, and access their desktop apps. Which if we're honest, sounds like more of a niche usage than, say, paying for your coffee in Starbucks.

Spent my day in search for an iPhone 4 case, but the search didnt lead to a purchase... However the day was still fruitful as I know roughly wat brand and product I can get out there in the market. The popular US brand Griffin was nowhere to be found, but other US brands like iLuv, Case Mate, Incipio was easily available. Most stores stock cheap Asian brands, cause I guess the profit margin for those products are higher.

Wasnt an active weekend, stayed mostly at home and rested, didnt manage to go gym, too lazy, was mostly raining day and night, making you lazy to go out.

Today, Pip came Subang and we went Subang Teochew Bah Kut Teh for lunch in Kg Melayu Subang near Sg Buloh. Then tried out the newly paved highway tat's Jln Sungai Buloh, starting from the Guthrie Corridor up till Kota Damansara, good alternative road from Subang to Kota Damansara/Sri Damansara/Sg Buloh, plus its toll free. But the roads is used mainly by truckers, so not so safe and pleasant journey for motorist on weekdays plus lots of traffic lights to contend with.

Juz like out times with the original iPhone, me and IT dun really gel... need an IT expert to help me with IT stuff. Also one of the reasons I didnt get an Android phone is cuz no peer support aka friends to help u wen your phone doesnt seem to work, and you havnt a clue...

Woke up, then head to the gym, exercised for a few hours, then went back, thought bout washing my car, but then Darrel called for lunch, then on the way to Darrel's house, Jason called for lunch, then settled for Ah Sang Bah Kut Teh in PJ, near Motorola there. Ah Sang's was good, but I still prefer the sungai buloh Teo Chew Bah Kut Teh, I think tis juz boils down to preference...

Then sent Darrel back to PJ, went over to MV for Mille Crepes @ Chase Austin's. Liyi says its better than Food Foundry's. But I juz found it to be abit richer in flavour due to heavy use of cream. The Food Foundry's is still as good according to Sook Kuan. Oh well, I think juz boils down to personal preference, I did enjoy Chase Austin's atmossphere better compared to the cramped and un-air-conditioned corner shop at Section 17.

Played Monopoly on Jason's iPad, totally enjoyed playing Monopoly for the 1st time ever as you don't have to leep track of things and cards and money, etc... And juz enjoy the game for once.

After, head over to OUG to have dinner with my ex-churhmates, Shirley, Sook Kuan, Yang Wei, Mark...

Then went to Snowflakes in OUG, and went on to play Catan in YW's hse.

What a LOOOOONG DAYYYY...

Went to find Pip in KL for dinner, didnt went to Jln Alor as its exp, so ate ate Lot 10 Hutong instead, then 2nd round went to Food Junction in Pavilion to eat again...

Came back to watch the Race of Champions 2010, held in Germany, where Schumacher and Vettel won the Nation's Trophy 4 consecutive times... The German crowd in ESPRIT Arena were very please to have their F1 champions dominate the sport...

Woke up late as usual, then hit the gym for a few hours to lose some weight, body fat is @ 20% currently, up 7% from 13% body fat when I last analysed my body. So gotta lose the tummy and build more muscles. Current weight is hovering around 64-66 kg, my target weight is 70kg! Wanna gain muscle mass and not FATS! Gotta cut on the carbs and eat more protein!

Came back from the gym to rest a while, then YW called for dinner, Pip was in town for his gym session.

Went to parade for dinner, YW, Pip, Karkien (my bro) and I ate @ Manhattan's Fish Market, then have some fun @ the arcade at the top floor and also to check out the Cinema MBO tat's slated to open in May
